Im not sure i understood what you mean - do you mean something like the western union money transfer? ( http://www.westernunion.com/info/faq...y=DE#tstfaq0_1)
Other types of "money orders" i know and used can be rather expensive if they cross certain country borders.
ps: i just looked up the WU money transfer restrictions regarding brazil. I guess those restrictions could be a problem ( http://www.westernunion.com/info/int...fer&country=BR)

I thought the main PA business is in coffee mugs and t-shirts anyway. Who seriously could expect it that the orders for credits outranked the coffee mugs after a year
ps: not that i could even find the shop offering the mugs and t-shirts on the portal anymore

Software is a tangible item, as would be a Music file or DivX
An online game tho where no download is involved cannot be described as tangible, as all you get is access to a restricted web space.

Re: Comments on payments and paypal
Nice one,
Looks like they have expanded on the London Commuter Cards that have been available for a few years, They allow the cardowner to "top up" their card at various outlets and use the credit to pay for travel on the Tube (underground rail network) and on the buses, also to purchase small items such as newspapers or sandwiches etc from the retailers in various bus and rail stations.
Saves the hasle of having to constantly look for correct change when getting on a bus etc...

Re: Comments on payments and paypal
but you would only use that pre-pay card because it is VISA and requires you to do nothing that you don't already have.
It's not a new idea, it's avaliable now, but costs you more money!!!!!!
SMS wouldn't be such a bad idea, and neither would postal orders.
it's hard to get paypal before your 18, I think don't quote me, but isn't that a restriction?

Re: Comments on payments and paypal
iirc paypal has restrictions on romania and lithuania for the same reason that pa blocked those countries from paying with credit cards : CC Fraud.

You can of course sell non-tangible things with Paypal if you want, howver that means that you are not covered against chargebacks made because of fraudulant cards, or if the buyer claims you haven't provided what they paid for and persuedes their credit card company to refund it.
Read page 24 & 24 of https://www.paypal.com/en_GB/pdf/mer...nteractive.pdf

Re: Comments on payments and paypal
even were the tangiable thing a problem, why not sell account activation codes, rather than credits?
mailing people an activation code, while not as fast as credit/bank card payment would seem to comply with paypal's rules, giving you potential access to more payments. plus, it'd allow you to check people's addresses with regard to multiing.
