cypher signing out
Sadly enough i'll be retiring from pa aswell now. After last round i just lost interest in pa and lost most of the fun part in it.
I'm now busy with alot of other things which i find more important and more fun, i'll hopefully hop in from time to time to check if pa is still alive as i still love this game spinner made us but i just don't want to put in the time anymore to go for a top 10 account and i don't want to dissapoint my alliance.
I would like to thank alot of guys in 1up and other alliances. I'd like to think i've made alot of friends on irc in all ranks of the alliances playing and i want to thank you all for making this game in to what it is.
But special thanks to Elviz and the grumpies, the BG's i've been with, MO's that kept 1up going, HC's (even mazz:P) and loads of other people i can't all name in this post so i won't, you know who you are.
even pa team gets a thanks, for keeping it alive You do good work, even tho no-one says so.
I won't fully dissapear from irc, just stay inactive as i am now(i hope )

It was real fun to play with you.Specially with Kralizec and 1up. I wish you great enjoyment in the rl part in Holland. I know I do
See you around on irc I am sure of that.

who will vouch for me now if i ever want to rejoin 1up :crymeariver:
but i dont blame your for your decision - it is quite understandable and i feel similar about PA ... i guess we all follow the same trend just a bit delayed
enjoy

Re: cypher signing out
Well this is bad news!!
Cypher is one of the main reason why I came back to PA again for round 17. It's players like him that make the game interesting (a challenge).
Unfortunately the likes of Cyph are not being replaced and until this is addressed in a major way one or two major names leaving will continue to have major negative effect on the game.
Anyway sorry to ramble a bit good luck Cypher in rl I'm sure whatever you do if you put in the same effort as PA you'll be mighty successful
P.S. You never know - you may pop on from time to time and play a round like I do

Re: cypher signing out
how dare you leave!!!
Well was good to play with and against you in LCH and 1up
Best of luck in "the world of rl" or just that crap game "free wow" (cant remember its name :P )
Hopefully we will get you back next round Sure feoline will be happier now anyway, even if she did make a good alarm clock for you to launch your fleets
We will get elviz to phone you for ships throughout next round to keep you in training

It will be interesting to see exactly how much damage last round did to PA overall. I doubt you are the only one who lost interest...
Either way, see you on irc from time to time.

Always something I wanted to ask you. You the chap who neg-repped me once with "your a moron. cant beleive thunder and mitre like you " I had a little wager on it being you or desse - but seems as though only forum admins can see who gives reputations, so the bet still hasn't been resolved.

hey mate i had good fun being same bg's or whatever in 1up for godknows how many rounds with you. you were always one of the more reasonable guys, take care now.
i'll always respect you for being one of only the few others who weren't afraid to inject their own opinion.

Re: cypher signing out
Oh so it wasn't you
I'll say something nice then \o/ Never really spoken to you, but yeah, sad to see another big name in pa leave. Was always fun participating in or hearing about the mass attacks on your planet, what with all the defense you got sent.
Ok that happens to other players too, but like dunno it happened to sjor didnt it? but most people probably thought "hey? sjor? who?" with you it was always "OMG AWESOME SHOW ME A JGP!!" though that could be because people hate you. But we'll go with the cypher is so popular option.
And you were R6B which puts you high up into the ranks of godliness along side the rest, and me!
[this is my first attempt at saying something nice on the forums, apologies if I came over a bit queer -_- but get used to it]

Re: cypher signing out
A lost for PA and this community for sure. The famous "cypher", as many says a true-blue PA celeb.
Though i already missed you and Lars for a long time now. I am proud we were true mates and didnt regret my loyalty to you both, during our triumvirate days (r12-r14) with that norwegian clown wanker.
Have fun with Linda and that so called real life.

You will be missed cypher. You are a specialist and there are not enough of us to fill the void you are leaving behind.
Reminds me of when Karl Malone retired from the NBA.
