homeworld 2
so i captured a vagyr shipyard (me being hiigarian) during a skirmish
so i thought i'd build me a very well mixed fleet, with some loads of missile stuff
i couldn't build with it
(purpose of thread: sympathize.. or something.. with me.)

Re: homeworld 2
MP is great - single player sucks, I was relieved to finish it, the pain was over.
Single player AI = at start of every level give the AI a fleet 20 times the size of the player and send it all at them, negating any reward for successful missions in the past.
I think pong had more advanced AI.

Re: homeworld 2
the ai fleets in hw2 is worked out by, how many ships u finished the last mission with (and i think what type of ships they r also matters), so if u finish the last mission with a small fleet the ai fleet is small, and if u have a big fleet the ai fleet is big.

It's pretty. Really pretty.
Try Rise of Nations too, that's great.

Re: homeworld 2
I still have the original somewhere which is extremely pretty, and has great music, and which kinda runs on my PC.
I need a new PC :(

Re: homeworld 2
The music's not as good, the original has the best use of Adagio for Strings outside Platoon.
You could get a pretty nifty machine for about £300, which isn't that low, but isn't that high either.

Re: homeworld 2
One we find a flat we'll get the PC up from Glasgow, which happily runs Homeworld 2, and all will be well. Plus I'm preoccupied with playing THE HULK on the PS2 these days :p
