Hear me out again!

I have posted this also as a reply in the thread titled 'Bans' but really want to get my point across.

Its a long post but please hear me out as I have found it incredibly hard talking to the people in charge, Karm says talk to JJ but JJ doesnt want to know.

I will get deleted soon so cannot reply to comments made here, the situation is impossible, so If anyone wants to mail me for information about this my address is [email protected]

In this thread I asked you to Hear Me Out and while I wasnt banned within 2 seconds and my post deleted, I wasnt really allowed to get my point across. Maybe now I understand why by this post;

So I thought I'd just reregister an account that people knew was me and carry on as I had before, which was largely harmless fun stuff.

It is at this point I was systematically removed everytime any reference to The Dark One was made. And I wasnt ever told why.

I had to take this up with Spinner, I believed I was being victimised by the moderating staff having never recieved proper warnings in the first place and then never recieving an explanation of why people in charge were doing this to a customer who had been with PA since it began.

Even Spinner could not explain in detail why I was banned and yet failed to reverse any decision of the forum administration

At this point I told Spinner I was washing my hands of PA and would hope that one day it died.
But...

• I did not ever declare war on the forums
• I never had over 50 accounts
• I have never spammed the board to the excess of 3 pages
• I have never posted porn or racism

If you read further up you will see that Wallaby aka Gosteh has confessed to spamming to the tune of 3 pages and I am not Gosteh. Check and you will see a UK IP address and not an ozzy one.

It is my belief that you people have never really known who was me and who wasnt and as a result I am now banned through other people dirtying my name. Spinner once referred to me as 'the guy who shoots his mouth off in #Planetarion'. At the time I didnt even use IRC!! I only started reusing it to talk to Spinner about my forum problem.

I later discovered that somene else had registered the nickname TheDarkOne, a person who threatened me and told me (to brag) that he used the nick to shout abuse at people.

I remember at one point my original TheDarkOne account was hacked and reported to the mods who told me they knew who did it. Nothing more was ever done about it to my knowledge. If someone is capable of hacking my account surely it is not unreasonaly to suspect it happened again when I wasnt aware and *may* have been responsible for some of the posts that I would not otherwise have made?

I just want my The Dark One account back and taken off this shitlist as I never put it there in the first place. I still post daily in the same manner I always did and its pretty annoying having to skit around under different names just so I dont get removed because people in charge here are too pig headed to listen or cannot understand my situation.

Is anyone listening to me this time???

I would be unhappy about it, but I would assume that there is a better reason for being banned. There has to be a reason for them not liking me as there is in your case. As for why they don't like you, I have no idea but as it doesnt affect my life in any way shape or form, I really dont care

I have mailed Karmulian, he said the ban wasnt to do with him and speak to JJ. JJ didnt listen first time round and hasnt done since, he ignores mails from me. I cant deal with it in private.

MrBrick and Asknight know nothing of the sitiuations origins and will simply ask JJ. And JJ has so far been too pig headed to listen.

Where can I go from here?

Any idea how the review is going? Or If its even actuallys happening?

He also said how his emails, etc have not been dealt with so it's not like he's been "limited to PMs".

Have you tried contacting JammyJim on NetGamers IRC recently? He should be receptive to a PM there as long as it's conducted politely and this medium allows you to discuss it in real time rather than delayed while waiting for a response to a forum post or e-mail. He's not online at this time but seems to be around most evenings at about 6-7pm UK time. If you idle around in #forums or #planetarion he should show up at some point.

In so far as any review is concerned I can't see what the admins are discussing so I don't know what's going on between them about it.

However i would like to point out that i have not recieved an email or a private message from you regarding this matter.
Up until about 7 days ago my PMs were being kicked back (new forums) because i was 600 over the limit. I could see them being sent but couldnt read them and i didnt see one from you......Thats now been fixed but i have recieved no such communications.


Your original ban was set so long ago that i honestly cannot remember why. It would require contacting Messiah and Mer again to try and kickstart my memory. I do know that it was a serious breach of forum rules.

I do, however, know that your repeated banning wasnt something we 'did for fun'. I remember several accounts where you would actively disrupt the forums for whatever reasons. As you know we had a shitlist and yes your name was on it. The shitlist was only created for the people who would come back and create problems repeatedly even if their intial few posts were 'nice' and 'normal'.

We knew it would end in an inevitable rule breaking of some sort so just banned on sight. (and i dont just mean censor evasion)


It seems im going to have to dig though some old logs and email Mer to see if i can 'sort this out'.

I dont actually use IRC. I made that point in my original post, when I did people kicked and banned my nick from the channel so I dont bother anymore. I certainly dont go in there and get a chance to idle. At the time I was 'banned' I distincly remember that JBoy would kick me from the #forums as soon as I entered thus preventing me to speak with anyone on the matter.

I never kept an account long enough to PM you so there wont be one from me and I have not emailed you about this recently I am referring to when I was 'banned' originally which could be as far back as a year ago. After your initial reply to my request to investigate the handling of my account you have failed to respond to any other mails I sent to you.

But now I have you attention maybe you can sort it out.

The ban was nothing to do with Mer nor Messiah, it was all entirely under your reign with a big helping hand from JBoy who did his utmost to delete me and then gloat about doing so without ever stopping to see reason. I think you have me confused with someone else who was banned at the time.

I still want to know why my name was ever on the shitlist! You and your people have never been able to tell me specifically what I did wrong and as time goes on it is less likely it will be remembered. Obviously noone keeps records or you would be more familiar with the facts. If you dont know why I was on the shitlist when it was something done under your reign, how the hell is do you expect anyone to have a chance of appealing against wrong or bad decisions?

I never said I did nothing wrong but it was never as bad as to warrant the treatment I got and still get by yourself and those in charge. I never had more than two warnings when using The Dark One originally and one of those was dudiously issued for a 'dirty arabs' comment I made. I was hardly the forums worst poster even by todays standards.

I dont user IRC to be honest and way back when I was banned originally I did log in to discuss this but I wouldnt be allowed to stay in the room long enough to ask anybody anything. JBoy was fond of banning me from #forums
It seemed to me at the time like a block was in place to prevent me even talking to anybody about this.

If you did, they were the accounts I made AFTER I got banned without being told I was banned, and The Dark One was just my second account remember..all others were created because I didnt know I was banned remember. In any case I dont remember ever having any dealings with you at all since I've used this board.

Censor evasion is utter crap, I still to this day rarely use expletives in their entirelty in any of my posts and usually substitute one letter for an asterix. I just dont find it necessary.

Porn. Dont make me laugh. I have never had the need or urge to post porn here.

If I am accused of all this I trust you actually have evidence? Evidence that actually links me..the real me..to any of this? I doubt you do as noone could provide any at the time I was originally banned.

I wrote posts in my own style, not that of somebody else, as I have repeatedly tried to expain I only ever recieved 2 warnings to my knowledge and one of those was dubious (I see worst posts nowadays). Surely that demonstrates that my general style of posting was never quite as bad as people think.

Honestly, judging by the wild allegations of 50+ accounts and posting page after page of spam, its like you have all set this TDO character up as a boogie monster that you are all afraid of. Thing is, you got it wrong see, im just a regular guy who hasnt done anywhere near half what I've been banned for.

I dont simply want to 'win' here I genuinely believe I was mistreated originally and never had fair or thorough reassessment when I appealed.

I have been provented from posting here full stop, it wasnt a case of getting warnings, getting deleted, getting more warnings, getting deleted, and so on until finally a ban was put in place. I have not been able to post at all after this time with any reference to my original nick, which shows its a personal thing that they will not compromise on.

If I were to tell you all what nick I have been posting under for the last 6-8 months it would show that I am not as bad a poster as people think (then they could see if I ever needed to censor evade or tried using porn, or just tried to make trouble, etc) but I would probably have that one deleted.

We're talking what, over two years ago? You know there's no chance of there being any remnant remaining, and even if there was we couldn't easily link it to any individual poster.

Yes, except at the time I was not told I was banned,. I thought I was deleted. Asa result I made no effort to disguise who I was at which point JBOY deleted my account. Thats why I had to keep making new ones until months later someone explained I was banned and not just deleted.

If I tried going to #forums on IRC JBOY banned me from there too so I was unable to speak to anyone about the situation. JJ ingnored my emails.

I think it was only about one year ago, maybe 18 months. I'll try and check timings.

And are you really saying that even if there was remnants remain they still could not directly point the finger at me for being the culprit? So why is it so hard for them to realise they may have made a mistake about half the crap I've heard as reasons why I was banned in the first place?

Of course, but you know I mean personal as in it was me as opposed to people who were in their clique.

At the end of the day whoever banned me did not tell me It was a ban, they did not warn me I was likely to be banned prior to it happening and afterwards, still unaware, JBOY delighted in deleting any account I made and used whether it was innocently or not.
