buddy packs for next round- question
What's the deal with buddy packs for the free round? Since it's free, I'm assuming that everyone gets upgraded-account rights, such as buddy packs...

And what about BP's for the first round of PAN...

what about the new players i hear some people saying

priv gals would rock but they do two things

a) encourage blocking
b) discourage new players

so I doubt we will see them

How long will the free round last and is it actually considered a decent round? I'm not too sure I'm gonna play at all that round, dunno

I would consider it a proper round to be honest, hopefully the pa team will make the startup quicker, research time quicker and the stats tweaked accordingly. Any alliance or players for that matter that dont consider it a proper round either dont have the ability to compete or are mere fools.

Basically, everyone can be in a buddy pack. I'm not sure how accelerated a startup we'll be giving though - we didn't really plan to give one origionally. stats balance is the most important thing, tbh.

I would encourage a accelerated startup, perhaps make the start say Saturday at 12:00 GMT and then run at 15 min ticks, we can be finished by the next day. Maybe a poll (democracy rules right)

Last round was 8 weeks (i think), considering this round is 5 theres not too much in it.

Accelerated startup is definitely a good idea though.
