Strange battlereport??
Battlereport
Fleet prioity was Ships/Roids, and i got war as seccond engineering pri..
Why do i kill so much structure, but dont steal a single roid??

You don't get roids because too many of your ships are fired upon ( as seen by the amount killed).
Its not meant to be the case (afaik), but it seems that if a ship has no targets (as is the case with the stalwarts) they will revert to going for buildings...

bah Eventh, you should have gone for your fleet with the first wave instead, the one with templar/vanguard (miliscan rocks)
Too bad we didnt forsee that your ships would hurt the structures so badly though, it was 'only' covered enough for roidlosses :/

i was hoping that he wouldnt have his ships in ships/ships, and therefor me stealing 300 roids..
but it didnt work out.. i was a bit desperat for roids..
but its strange that i kill 8 buildings... very strange..

I've been seeing some similarly odd reports, I've suicided a few hundred Battleships set to structures/factories on someone and not killed a single structure or factory and neither did a few hundred of my spcialist structure targettting ships, but 1k Frigates set to ships/roids got 7 structures when hitting the same target.
I'll try a same sized battleship fleet set to mixed/mixed soon, and another set to roids/roids and see what happens, is could be that the forumula is hooked up wrongly for the ships and factories prioritiy.
Has anyone else seen something similar?

I had a friend earlier in the round who fancied a different style of playing so just built stilettos. He sent a few 000s on fact/fact and killed nothing and I think not much better on struct/struct. Almost every battle where you cap roids sees you kill buildings.
Theway it seems to work is you can only kill about 8-10% of the overall buildings so 20000 olympus is redundant. If you have ships that don't have a target ship class they kill buildings and with the current size of fleet they seem to always kill the max. Basically it's bugged to hell.

afaik, 1stn priority respresent 40% of the ship's 'power', 2nd represents 20% and the other 40% is 'mixed' or 'reserved for general dogfighting' or sumthin...
Possibly with structures set as a 'secondary' target. Does this seem to work out?
You wouldn't cap roids because you lost over 22% in each fleetclass. However, the stals had nothing to shoot at 'cept buildings, and so did!

I'm pretty sure that 20% of each class... I would be annoyed if I sent 1k FI and 200 BS for instance, lost all my FI but no BS, and then couldn't cap any roids with my BS!

It goes class by class, you can loose 100% of all you got in fi/fr/cr but still cap with bs if enough survives.
