"HC"
does it cross anyone else mind that being a 'HC' is just as almighty as your common bum under the bus ?
also, if PA had a proper timeline, r1-2 would be the period in which the bible was written, me being jesus (or I could settle for an apostel, but who would be jesus?)

Re: "HC"
nope, you got at it all wrong, you have to see it more in terms of alliances...
Concordium and the early bluetubas were the merry citizens of babel before that tower was constructed. When they started building ther towers of babel in r2 the minnions of hell in form of legion and fury were set loose onto the world. Then came the long long time covered by the old testament in which, despite intermezzos and attempts by forces of good, the evil in the end allways seemed to win over people. In r6 the Deus ex Machina of PA-Jesus appeared, ofc calling himself Deus ex Machina. He defeated the forces of evil and sacrificed himself for the well-being of PA, but after his death only few people took up his example and things returned to how they allways had been, with the only difference that as of that time Deus accepted those who fought for the good into their super-secret channel (the pa-afterlife/paradise)

Re: "HC"
If PA needs a historical analogy, I'd say we're in the Byzantine Empire, circa early 15th century.

want to enlighten that?
maybe someone could make a valid analogy with the current alliances and historical facts etc (like the time they compared ships types with alliances, but then better )
rgds Kj (just curious)

Once a great empire controlling half the world. slowly decaying, internally split and falling apart.
not to mention 1453 the fall of konstantinople-byzanz. Marking the end of the east roman empire and opening the east european front for europe against the islam. ( The next 300 years should be full of wars in europe against the new osman empire finally ending in the west the same year as america was found with the removal of the last osman colony on the grounds of spain and the successfull austrian defence against the osmans on the doors of vienna).

Re: "HC"
Personally, if you want a historical analogy I'd say...................
........................you could compare early PA to the pre-alexandrian Midddle East with it's huge divided kingdoms (Persia and so on) and city states (Athens, Sparta, Thebes) constantly at war with each other. Then you could compare concordium to Alexander, rapidly expanding, more committed, fought harder. The fall of Alexander's empire after his death and the giant bloated mass breaking down into a number of smaller empires could be seen as similar to the fall of concordium underneath it's mass recruitment policies as it was supplanted by smaller, more efficient and effective alliances (fury and legion). If you wanted you could compare legion to greece and fury to rome (poor legion don't get to be rome ). Xanadu could be carthage, challenging the ascendancy of fury (rome) in isolation and temporarily beating it back before it expanded further, included greece (legion) back into it's circle and grew to the heights of it's power with relatively little opposition (go r7!) Before then finally being destroyed by the barbarian hordes, which rome (fury) recruited to bolster it's own flagging power (ldk and the more northern graecian tribes, the visi/ostrogoths, being at one time part of alexander's greater empire to the north of macedonia but ignored by rome, being of course titans). The historical analogy then falls neatly into place with r8 being the sacking of rome and the downfall of the old order, r9 being the temporary revival under Justinian, r9.5 being the barbarians finally destroying the last remnants of roman power before retreating (the huns) or settling and becoming part of the local civilisations (the goths, franks etc). This leaves us neatly facing into the dark ages proper and centuries of religious (you blocking/farming/cheating bastards!) warfare.
PS I know I had to ignore r3 but you try finding a better historical analogy
PPS The above is ridden with historical errors

Re: "HC"
Looks more like a post-apocalypse nuclear winter to me.
All the great nations have fallen, just a few small pockets of civilization left. No more the numbers or massive military power of previous ages. Doom and despondency everywhere whether the world (PA) will even survive.

Secundary school Kjel, a very distant educational institution, reserved for only the cleverest amongst us. We totally understand you did not have access to secundary school, and your question is therefore acceptable in this context.

... clearly, Nodrog. No one could foresee his comings and goings or predict his actions. He left us with vast quantities of 'teachings' that the wise still have not decifered. He had a devoted group of followers who 'taught' similar things, and generally tried to imitate him. And 99% of the PA community wanted to nail his stupid ass to a cross at some point.
and i think of you more as one of those lepper dudes with the open sores who had to walk around yelling 'Unclean, Unclean!!' so nobody would accidentally touch them.
/me holds his nose.
