Why Won't It Delete?!
Another small cry for help that I think can be cleared up v. easily and shows my n00bness but heh!

Recently (read last day or 2) when I highlight a section of text in Word and go to type over it or press delete, nothing happens!

Why isn't my writing disappearing like it should!?

BTW - I think that winbar kept crashin my computer

Does this happen with all documents or is just new / old / etc?

Does it happen in Wordpad or other similar programs (Notepad), etc?

Try closing Word searching for Normal.Dot (default template) and deleting it. When you retstart Word it'll create another copy which sometimes helps.

Or you could make sure no other programs are running, or you could try reinstalling Word.
