Where are they now?
 

OK, its 1am and i am a little drunk and bored and i stubled upon the pawiki. This got me all nostalgic so i thought i would make this thread.

The idea is that you post here people who use to know in PA and havent seen in awhile. Anyone who knows where they are now (or if they are hiding here then post themselves) post what they are upto. Maybe a terribad idea but...... :p

People about whom i wonder "where are they now?":

That is a little bit of an eccentric list now isn't it. There have been selected oldies sometimes posting on the planetarion discussions to check whereabouts - I guess you could try search that forum by poster names, and see if there's anything recent, but it still sounds like quite a long shot. Sid & co I think moved to Eve back after round 19 or so unless my memory is completely flawed, however, what they've done after, you're going to have trouble finding out.

A month or so ago, when I ventured this forum once again, I was also figuring where some of the people were who I played against or amongst. Players such as BlueArmy but seems he's still very much alive and kicking :-)

I was wondering what Happened to

- Morden
-Germania (KW)
- Focht

All Eclipse or Mistu - FAnG (Morden) at some point. People I had alot of good discussions with, while during those particular rounds we were at war with, being banned from their public channel :-)

I play EVE online atm, though I must say not many of the PA oldies are still playing it, atleast of those I know of (Xanadu members mostly). If you'd know Syd's ingame name, I could check for you.

i have no idea what syn sids eve name is. i only put him on my list cos he was a big personality from before my "PA vacation" and was gone when i got back.

As to the "eccentric list" they are pretty much all former ToF players, and so was i, hence its eccentricity.

Sorry Kjeldoran, not seen any of those you listed.

Atm he is probably on his way back to his home since we just went out to play footy :p

and vix occasionally checks the forum (with occasionally i mean once every year or so :p)

Germania I spoke too post 1up a good year or so. He seemed fine and was settling down with life.


I've got Tis (former Fury and former 1up) and mazzelaar (former Fury member and former 1up Exec) both on Facebook though I neglect to really communicate that much.

Makes me feel bad and should probably say hi or something.

Synthetic Sid did indeed move to Eve, along with alot of former Fury/1up. Yet one day Sid upped and left. (He was doing really well and was quite high up in one of the Corps).

Sid has not been seen since. He never accessed his Eve account ever again. Rumour had it he just cashed in his ISK and probably moved onto professional Poker (as he always played Poker whilst in 1up).

He never answered his mobile.

The more saddening rumour is that Sid died which would explain his complete disappearance.

Unfortunately, with the dissolution of the Fury spy network we cannot confirm anything. (As we once found the AWOL Sid at a pub)

Thanks for the note Zhil, though bit sad/confused about Sid. I asked around in EvE, and some folks had heard about him (through SA forums (Goons) but nothing of late).

If he "cashed in" his isk, he's probably at an online poker table somewhere...

@TheRat: sov issue should be well sorted now, Mittens running Goons and chairman of the CSM :P

It was quite funny at the time, for the rest of us anyways :P
