What's in a name?
Saw this on fark
Anyone here actually know this Grenade fellow?
Personally, while I do get called 'Scoot' or 'Scooter' every once in a while irl, I can't see myself getting my name legally changed to it. Or tatooed on my arm for that matter.

Re: What's in a name?
I've had many different nicknames, but even if I had one that stuck it wouldn't be something I would legally change my name to, especailly if it was the name of an object.
And I've never heard of that grenade guy.

Re: What's in a name?
I've told people in real life that my name is Dante
Most of the time people call me 'D' anyway (as opposed to Darian) so I suppose it doesn't really matter.

Re: What's in a name?
I hadn't thought about it much but most of my RL firends call me DJ.
One of the locals got his name legally changed to "Mr Shawn", but that's about as eccentric as I've seen.

Leave it to Planetarion to pull of something like this, incidentally when visiting my PA friends they call me 'parra' instead of arjan.

I think that might have something to do with the fact you're named arjan.

Re: What's in a name?
Is it possible to change your name so that it's just one name (ie one word)?

Fraternisation with the enemy. You have no official ambassadorial capacity.
If you are caught doing this again, then you will be shot, or re-located further North.
