Do you think you use computers too much?
I think I do.
Computers are my escape, my life. I rarely do anything that doesn't focus around computers. I'm out of shape, but I'm still growing, so I don't look it. I need to get out, I need to do something that doesn't involve electronics and typing.
How about you?

Computers are what I do when I've got nothing better to do.
Going out with mates etc always takes precedence - however, I don't seem to need much sleep so I quite often end up with nothing better to do late at night (unless its friday or saturday of course).

I think I used to, during my Planetarion "heyday", but nowadays I only use them when I'm bored and/or want to learn new things. And they tend to concentrate my boredom and make me leave after a short while now anyway.

There is little, besides sleep and eat, that don't relate to computers somehow for me.
No, I don't think I use the computer too much. It's a laboursaving device, whether what work you want to do is communicating with others, pay your bills, be entertained, or whatever.

I used to. Then I went away to Australia for a year. Now I'm down to checking my mail and browsing a bit maybe two times a week, where it used to be... well... all the time.

I'm pretty much either in bed, in class, or in this chair in front of my computer. In fact my usual weekend day often consists of me waking up, getting into this chair, and other than bathroom/shower/food, not getting out for about 14 hours when I crawl back into bed. :-/
Although I can't see this as being healthy, I don't have any real motivation to do anything else.
As a plus tho, I've lost about 30 pounds since I started college due to my laziness in meal making, which is good because I was on the track towards overweightness senior year of high school.

Being a Techmonkey means I sort of have to use them all the time for my Job . Yes I am quite positive I use them too much. In fact they've annoyed me so much today that I wont be using my PC at home this evening methinks.

My social skills are fine, I'm just lacking the will to make use of them too much at the moment.

Most of my days revolve around PC use, cause theres **** all else to do here besides go to college, and then it's the same routine. I get out a bit now cause im not single, but when im not with my girlfriend Ill sit around online. I probably wouldnt mind as much if there was anything decent on TV, but there doesnt seem to be anymore. Next few days I'll probably end up sitting around online doing sod all cause my girl is away and theres no college

Using a computer is hardly a singular activity.
If I sit at my computer, I might be watching a television program, listening to music, reading philosophy, debating utopia with right-wing libertarians, speaking to real-life friends, programming or any number of other things. But the important thing is that all things I read/watch/view/etc are almost entirely what I choose to enjoy.
If I'm watching television, I'm merely passively receiving other people's ideas, interspersed with crappy messages trying to sell me stuff.
Basically yes - about 13 hours a day on a work day. But I don't really see this as a bad thing not counting my rapidly deteorating eye-sight.

i can socialise and i even like socialising, it just appears my friends prefer to socialise with me over the internet, rather than in person. not a whole lot i can do about that, besides get new friends, and i really can't be arsed with that.

Basically, i do a full time college course on IT, i do technical support for BT and work un-sociable hours during the week, thus when im home i use the internet a lot also.
I'm not constantly online, but i'm on a lot and only because it accompanies my current lifestyle rather well. Weekends however i'm out, gotta blow the cash i earn someway, and not just on browser based games.
I'd say im arounda computer 12-14 hours of my day.
