My youngest brother works as a delivery driver for marks and spencer up in london, mainly delivers to the very well off areas. Yesterday due to a small protest police close off a few streets and he was stuck for half an hour on the inside of the cordon. Feeling thirsty he went off to a newsagent to get a drink, comming back he saw his van was surrounded by armed police with one guy looking underneath for any evidence of a bomb.

Idiot had left it about 100 yards from the us embassy

actually it was a boring ending, he mentioned it was his van, they took a quick look inside (food to be delivered to peoples homes) and they opened up the barricade and let him out.
