Birmingham, Derby or Sheffield
I've got a choice of these three places to go on Thursday. I've never been to any of them, so I've no idea what is there.
My question to you: which do you recommend I visit?
I'm not interested in *doing* anything as such. Mostly just droning around the shopping centres and/or pointing at stuff and stating my opinion of it.
Derby is my current favourite, as it is cheapest to get there.

It's like having to choose between knob in a vice, a blender or having it chainsawed off

Doesn't sheffield have some Museum of Popular Music or something (that was someone being ironic when they thought of sticking it there)

if you're into 'alternative' stuff check out oasis market in birmingham. or if your more of a science geek we have millennium point. otherwise don't bother. Birmingham's major shopping centre was knocked down and is still being rebuilt.
Just for the record, i don't live in birmingham, I live in Solihull. The difference is pronounced.

Yup, the Bull Ring reopens on 6th September and looks really funky. Millenium Point is really interesting, as is the area around Broad Street and Brindley Place.
