Download timer

Any suggestions?

I'm not looking for anything particularly fancy just something to tell me how much I've downloaded each month will do.

Intervention is an unknown quantity at this point
Just keep track of how many bytes are downloaded each day (look in your network connections thing) and then add them all up over the course of a month.

easier said than done, my connection isn't always stable for a start, so once it disconnects I lose all of that. also it does not provide an at-a-glimpse view of what my current tally is, I discovered very quickly how easily I could go over and not even realise it.

just loaded up coolmon and it works really well

look in the "post your desktops here" thread form a few months back and you should get it unless it's been purged

Code:
<C:$ff9933>.::</c> <b>NETWORK</b> <C:$ff9933>::.</c>
IP : <NAME=IPAddr>
DOWNSTREAM : <C:$ff9933><NAME=NetRead LEADZERO DECIMAL SIZE=5 FORMAT="ALL"> KB/s<C:$999999></c>
UPSTEAM : <NAME=NetWrite LEADZERO DECIMAL SIZE=5 FORMAT="ALL"> KB/s<C:$999999>
DOWNLOAD : <NAME=NetSumRead LEADZERO DECIMAL SIZE=5 FORMAT="ALL" DIV=1024> MB<C:$999999>
UPLOAD : <NAME=NetSumWrite LEADZERO DECIMAL SIZE=5 FORMAT="ALL" DIV=1024> MB<C:$999999>
is the code you'll want in your config file to set it up
