omg that thing's gotta be over a hundred years old! or close too it.. was it expensive???

i wanted a bonsai tree.. and my parents gave one to my bf for christmas.. :\

It only cost £9.95, which is about 16 Yank-Pounds I think. Don't know what that is in CanadaCash though.


They're ace, though. I'm going to start growing one soon.

hmm.. $16 american
we go by the general rule of 'double it' .. so that makes it $32
that's still pretty cheap actually
i saw one that was younger than your tree and it was like $60!

yah i wanna start growing one :P though it takes forever! is yours a 'weeping fig'?? can't really tell from the pic but that's what it looks like to me. that's the kind my bf got.. only (hate to say it) but i like his better.. it's got more branches/leaves, though the trunk isn't very thick.

I bought an apple tree for my mum a couple of years ago... we got our first apple and applet off it last year, which was good. Its still small.

(edit: keep forgetting its 2003. :/ )
