No.

Because it's all a bunch of made-up roleplaying geeky nonsense.

Go and see a gig, a football match, buy some cd's. You'll feel better about yourself in the long run.

you havent read the books have you...

but to answer ur questions.

i live in stoke, its barren of any decent gigs until sometime in february
im not in any way interested in football. to qoute Dace, its gay
and i didnt bring my cd player to uni, i have my puter with a hard drive full of backed up mp3s from all my cd's. + my pc tends to crash every time i eject a music cd from the drive.

hence why i decided to finally get down and buy the books, something i have been intending to do for years.

and if i buy the books ill feel a litle more educated in the long run. sorry if i dont conform to materialistic bs.

you obviously have been hitting your head while playing footbal. roleplaying has derived FROM lord of the rings.. not opposite. just thought i'd share that with you.

I didn't know the train system was so appalling that you can't move to the gig rather than making the gig come to you.

To my shame and horror I did know this. To be honest I don't care, but it's exactly the kind of pedantic thing I expected from a bunch of people with nothing better to do than watch some made up creatures prance about in a forest with axes.

i cant afford to travel anywhere, buying the books will give meh hours of entertainment as opposed to a few hours of drunkenness at a gig.

im a student, and as such, notorious for not wanting to spend much money. hence why i ask if its possible to buy these books anywhere else for cheaper.

i dont feel like arguing the point over with u any more.

Since I am also a student I have sympathy and can help you there. Go into a second hand (ie charity) bookshop and buy them. Alternatively go to HMV and they are often in 3 for the price of 2.

yes, there was a little stuff on it, but the prices they were goin at were higher than what amazon can do the books for.

+ id rather minimize postage costs by buying all from the one place, as opposed to from multiple different sites. altho it wud depend on how much id save and a whole load of other bollocks.

Yes, I usually hate that kind of lazy argument but I was being quick and had to criticise something to get the anger from the appalling result tonight off my chest.

I can launch into several pages of criticism if you so desire.
