right, you get the thing that you want more than anything
but you are not 100% happy about the way that you got it

you are sat at point 2 with the intention of skipping 3, 4 and 5 to reach point 6 but you find yourself arriving at point 10

this is good because point 10 is what you really really want
but you wanted to get there through 8 and 9

what do you do?

If it's something you really wanted anyway then it shouldn't matter. But it depends on whether the way you got it changed the nature of it. If for instance, I really wanted to kiss a girl, and then it ocurred but it turned out it was part of a hilarious practical joke then obviously I'd have been robbed of the experience. Or something.

So it completley depends. Most of the time it wouldn't really matter to me, but there are times when it would, so basically what Sub said, more info plz.
