Cool stuff in the Uk...
Why would I want to visit the UK. I mean besides the Queen, which is like a 1% interest, why would I want to go there. Before you say bars, I can do that at home.
I am looking along the lines of Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park, even Disney World.
Hell, I doubt you can even compete with Texas.

well mr bushyblair -
In england there is a distinct lack of americans. whether this caters to your taste or not, is merely opinion, but for a large amount of people - this is a good thing.

If you go to London, you might meet nodrog.
It's well worth a trip just for the possibility of meeting such an internet celeb.

or maybe he meant to write "two", and was referring to a couple of snow-white's dwarves...?

Then why don't the mods change the Gimmick account role's from Registered User to Gimmick and save people the effort of giving everyone the chance no matter how much of an ass they are.
You do have to allow for the fact that there are going to be new users.
[Edit]
On the genuine intentions of adding something conductive to the actual starting post I shall list what could be considered landmarks of the UK.
Edinburgh and Stirling Castle's
Loch Ness
White Cliffs of Dover
The Towers of London
The Lake District
The Isle of Iona (Celtic history there)
Ben Nevis and more over Aviemore during the winter
The Trossachs and more specificaly within there Loch Lomond.
The Millenium Dome and The Millenium Eye
That massive Geohabitat construction thing being built in cornwall
Many of the museum's that boast displays dedicated to explaining the great worldwide inventions of mankind most of which can be attributed to british inventors.
I genuinely know nothing in Wales of Genuine international rapport and interest though, other than that silly named town with the train station.

Re: Cool stuff in the Uk...
And the Uk's answer to Disney is probally Alton Towers, only difference is Alton Towers can build some good white knuckle rides where as Disney is full of rides aimed at peoples with the mentality of a George W. Bush (ie 5 year old)

And who would that be? Guess you don't know how things work around here
On the topic, what the UK has that the US don't; BSE and bad weather?

I think an account called 'Bushyblair' that pops up at the same time as 'Ossamaddam', and proceeds to ask in every thread where the latter is might possibly be a gimmick

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch
Also the Millennium Stadium you could look at
a load of old castles
go down some coal mines
mountain climbing - Brechon Beacons and Snowdonia
supposedly we are popular for places to go walking because of the quietness of mid Wales
Pembrokeshire - Britain's only Coastal National Park
A load of museums - http://www.nmgw.ac.uk/
We don't really have much :/
These lists makes it look a lot more impressive though :
http://westwales.co.uk/places/places.htm
