So I saw Sahara at the cinema last night
heh.
So long as you take it for what it is (a trashy action film which pokes fun at itself) then it's worth seeing for entertainment value and some decent laughs. No it's not going to win any oscars, but it's got a decent cast, an entertaining (if implausible) storyline and is sometimes rather funny.
Caution: suspension of belief required.

Re: So I saw Sahara at the cinema last night
The exact same reason I went last night heh.
I'd get there early, it was rather popular and as there were 4 of us it was damn hard to find seats.

From your review, I'm expecting something like 'The Mummy' with the tongue in cheek comedy action thing, am I right or do your reviews suck?

I'm sick of shit American action movies with all the intelligence of a spasticated version of Carol Smilie. If I want 'action' then I can go to the Benwell estate and I don't have to pay the ****ing extorionate fee of upwards of £5 for the ****ing priviledge.

That's why I like Stop or My Mom Will Shoot; Whatever happens to me in life, I will never be as shit as Estelle Getty or Sylvester Stallone.

I only have the one copy. I couldn't cheat on it with multiple copies. That would make it cry. Bad things would happen then.

Something that may interest some of you is that Carol Smillie was due to be one of Noel Edmond's gotcha victims on one of his 'hilarious' TV shows. The camera crew followed her round for a couple of days until just after they filmed her in a BBC changing room having a wank.
Apparently true story.
