Girl problems
Well, I put myself into the ranks of those that ask the all-knowing GD community about girls.
Well, to put it simply, I met a girl, got phone number, sent some messages.
The messages she sent back was not "open" (No questions or anything I could really build on), but she has responded to all my messages in a cheerfull way.
I asked her if she had time to go out, and she said yes, but that she could not, beacause she has a boyfriend.
Now, I know that is not true. So, I figure, either she is playing hard to get, or she is trying to force me away. Anyways, I sent her a message, asking if I should stop messaging her. She replied no, and thus the situation is at a dead end.
This girl does not really mean anything to me yet, and I don't know her at all, and she is definatly not the type of girl I'm used to flirt with, but I want to try to make it work. I'm tired of meeting girls while on drugs or alkohol, beacause it never really leads to anything, but judging from the way this girl is, I do doubt that we have much in common. (That just might be a positive thing! I've only dated girls like myself before, and it's not all that cool all the time)
What should I do?

Re: Girl problems
I'd move on. If she says she has a boyfriend that's a fairly clear "**** off" signal.
Unless at the same time she's also got your cock in her mouth.

Re: Girl problems
By the looks of it, and I'm really not very good with advice so ignore it, she doesn't want to be with you, but she's being nice about it, and not wanting to hurt your feelings.
Also, I believe this thread proves GDers should not be asked for advice about girls.

She's trying to put you off.
There's playing hard to get, then there's pretending to have a boyfriend so a guy will realise she just wants to be friends.
It sucks, but it's the truth dude.

Of course not. She firstly likes the attention, and secondly is kidding herself that you're a good friend of hers. So why should you stop texting?

Re: Girl problems
So she said 'no' when you asked if you should stop texting her. Now it's time to turn the table and start playing hard to get yourself, if she doesn't react, too bad, **** it. If she does, something fun might develop.
In other words, move on, and see what happens. You don't want to get played around do you?
As tomkat says, she's probably just craving for attention and that's it.

Re: Girl problems
She might get desperate and lonely at some point though and you can be there and get some needy sex (which is seriously underrated true story).

Re: Girl problems
Well guys, thanks for the advice! My plan was to not text her for a while and see what happens, and your advice has only enforced that feeling.
I should probably just stick to what I do best, getting drunk and sociabale!

She's lying about whether or nor she was a boyfriend to snurx. Sort of defines pointless and bad manners.
In case you didn't realise snurx is a delicate flower who wouldn't hurt a fly never mind be offended by her saying she didn't want to go out with him <3

That may not be the case. I`ve been messing around with a certain "taken lady" since last October 04. Smogging and text flirting and that. Yet the reason she does n`t F**K me is that she says she is a "good girl". Oh yeah? She also says I if F**k anyone else, she would be "very jealous!" Confused? She is also an alcoholic with her boyfriend. Thoughts please.

Dude, he wants her to sleep with him, not frig herself senseless. I'd say this was a counter-productive strategy.

Re: Girl problems
I could really do with some sex right about now.. Though, on second thoughts, might be wise to give it a day or two.
My advise on this situation is to only send a text to her for every single one you receive. Don't make them flirtatious, just play it as cool as you can. if you still get responses then all might not be lost. you might just need to let your personality grow on her. It helps if you have some knowledge of her psyche, as I personally tend to get an idea pretty quickly from a text message as to whether its really worth it or not.
Good luck, and do what you think is right, but learn from your mistakes!

Re: Girl problems
If you start working on the prettiest girls you can find with the lowest self-esteem possible, you'd probably won't have this problem.
These include single moms, date-raped girls and elementary school teachers.

i'm usually not bad with advice...
It's hard on GD because you don't know the people involved.
But yeh - as others have said, only text her from now on if you're replying to something she said or actually have something to say to her.
Every time I tell myself that I end up getting drunk and sending another text

Re: Girl problems
In her mind she's made it clear that she doesn't want to go out with you. When you asked her if you should stop messaging, she probably took it as you asking if you're an obnoxious annoying twat that she wishes would stop bothering her. The only reason she would tell you to stop messaging her is if she feels like you've been harrassing her, and she genuinely wants you to leave her alone. Otherwise she would say no, even if she didn't really want to carrying on talking to you. Move on dude. She has made herself clear, even if you know what she told you wasn't true.
