A pure gamble off course allthough some alliances are more obvious candidates than others.

So put your predictions here in this thread, no explanations, no arguing why or what alliance is better or whatever, just a plain prediction will do !!! We will see who get it right in 4 months or so.

If it was on pure playing ability I'd say Olympians, who I think are a cut above the rest. Since politics has taken a rather nasty swing against them I'll go for one of the SWEET alliances, I'd like to say Eclipse but hm.

All random speculation and a way of bolstering an alliances repuatation.

There is no way to know what will happen during the round. VOM may disban, WEE may disband, who knows?

So why do people insist on making shuch threads which there is no way of knowing what will happen... this is all whats ifs or if this happend.

I dont see the point tbh.

If we could "know" who would be top planet/alliance, then there would be very little point in playing the round.
What-if scenarios generally end up as midly entertaining reading, so I say keep it going

Oh, and my vote goes for Vision, natch

Then name some ely that have previously been top planets.... the only one that comes to mind was Storebo and possibly Anna, both of which moved to Fury for last round o_O

As for Virus, they *had* Singu. Argon has done well in the past, then there is logbat. The gap between these players and the rest of most of the alliance is quite large though.

WP had some leet finishers once upon a time, with there fence sitting antics in R6 giving them a few biggies.

Madcows is a bit of an unknown although there is a bit of talent there.

Nos's last biggie that comes to mind was Euphoric in r4

(im sure there have been others since then..) however there hasnt been much of a presence in the top rankings from Nos lately.

However Eclipse/Olympians contains the majority of the players that have been in the top rankings in previous rounds, and have the dedication and commitment to play a top planet. While the big, but more numerous alliances do not. They are also the "leetest" alliance in there respective powerblocks, so depending on which block wins, members from each of these alliances will make up most of the top ranks.

There are ofc always exceptions to this

R6 NoS had some strong finishes. Rev finished 3rd I believe, and we had a few others nip'ing at the top 10. I believe pcmaster was like 11th or so.. but alot higher roid-count wise. All and all, R6 was probably a better finish for NoS than R4 was.

Fence sitting bitches & vacation-whores (lo Smasher) don't count either.

Storebo and Anna are ones that come to mind yes Anna particularly did well because of her defence that came within however long it was. I find the fact that Elysium controlled gals that got hammered after much resistance and long after everyone else had gone into vacation mode i.e rd 6 and rd 7
which reminds me other noted players we had a top 20 last round with semi activity and cheerios did well with semi activity his finished well in recent times too.

that is like 70-80% of every who 'know' how to play p.a :/

god knows how many coming/going mmbrs those alliances have had up though the rounds.

heh I have been bluetuba but have spent my main PA life in Legion so has Maddix so what he means is someone who is well known from those alliance that has been there through most of their PA life.
