Anyone want a job?
Mainly in the Newcastle area, if youre round here I can get you one piss easy cause my call centre is desperate for people so that me and the other better paid people can get on with doing the complicated stuff, rather than having to take applications from annoying people.
Also, being as the company I work for does recruitment, we are currently looking for people in the Peterlee (near Newcastle) and Merryhill (near Birmingham) areas to give to the Inland Revenue. Its all call centre work though I'm afraid.

Re: Anyone want a job?
Leshy - you can commute it if you want to, but it may not be cost effective.
Emby - not everything I do is porn related, although that remains the best paid few hours work I've ever done.
Sunday - its DEFINITELY too far for you to commute. As for the locations, I dont pick 'em, except for the Newcastle ones. And I commute there.
And Nod - sadly I'm not in charge of payroll. Otherwise I'd be much better paid than I am.
I think they said we would be doing Bornemouth soon too....and Dundee...

Re: Anyone want a job?
I want a job because I do not currently earn enough in my present job and I don't have a good enough company car and my company phone isn't very good and my Personal Assistant doesn't have big enough breasts.

Re: Anyone want a job?
I know.
I'd trade all of it to be actually satisfied, happy and content with life.
Although I can't see that happening, so I'll live with it.

Re: Anyone want a job?
I did figure that you probably wouldnt be interested in a £5.25 per hour call centre temp job skiddy. I considered all the people I was aware of being in this area, discounted them all, and then thought...well, there might be people nearby I dont know about, so I'll ask anyway.

Actually I might be giving you a call in a few weeks about those jobs depending on what happens with work / TA stuff.

Is this the job where you talk dirty to men to get them off, and get paid?

Re: Anyone want a job?
This job is just taking calls from people who want jobs with the Inland Revenue, or, with the ones elsewhere in the country, actually working for the Inland Revenue.
I dont know how long the owrk in my office will go on for, currently they are saying 3 weeks, but thats about what they told me when I started last October. Admittedly, I have now been made permenant, but there are still 2 temps who have been with us that long, cause they just made themselves indispensible. Even the others lasted with us until about April.
The jobs with IR are generally permenant ones.
We have all been asked if we know anyone who might like to come and work in the call centre, as we are very short of staff. A rather desperate sounding email was sent round to us all saying 'please find people to work here!'

Re: Anyone want a job?
We havent done London since last summer. I'll try to remember to let you know if we do them again though. My company does most of the high volume recruitment for the Inland Revenue, so its patches all over the country.

I work at the Merry Hill shopping centre - you probably mean the Waterfront estate, not the centre itself.

I'd very much doubt it. One magazine photoshoot and a film that was never finished, so it would be quite a surprise if you did have anything with me in.

Yes, it is the place at the waterfront, we just call it what the IR tell us to, It causes some confusion sometimes, as other people call it Brierley Hill and new staff get very confused.

Wait wait...
So your company takes calls from people who are looking for a job, and still you're looking for people who want a job yourself.
I must be missing something. Clearly...

Re: Anyone want a job?
Well, the IR jobs are 1) doing different work, 2) permenant, as opposed to our temporary ones, 3) better paid and 4) in different areas. So people dont tend to be interested in both. Plus we dont usually advertose for people for our own call centre, being an agency, people usually just walk in and ask for work.
