there is something else i would call cheating... having pa team merge 2 alliances. In this case it happens to be insignifcant, as FPM has allready won. However just from a principle point of view its very very wrong, as in effect its producing a top 5 alliance for no penalty. Last round when hirr joined NoS in game they had to fight hard and use skill and determination to succeed.... this quite honestly makes me sick.

The two alliances involved here haven't gained score they didn't earn, they have simply combined the score they both have fought to obtain. You can feel whatever you like about PA team allowing this merger, I have to admit I was amazed they approved it myself, but to go from that to claiming there is no dedication and no skill involved in gaining our score is pretty lame.

There's a reason we managed to go as high as 5th place, and it's not cheating... it's the fact that our members have been able to attain a rather decent average score even with the added obstacle of struggling to cover all defs during the late nights of constant incs on the few members we have. If you want to talk about skill and dedication, that is skill and dedication.

By combining our numbers like this, we have done nothing other than give our members the boost in memberbase we both needed in order to cope with an ever growing, ever hostile universe.

Enuf back flaming. Now my official answer to the flaming and an attempt to explain a bit

The 72 hour penalty is to prevent INDIVIDUAL members form ally swapping to get mass def constantly. We all know that without such a penalty, it wud be exploited massively.

This is not an individual or a small group transferring. If that had been the case, i wud not have even asked PA-CREW. In this case, we see that HR and LCH like each other enough to have a merge for the remainder of this round. We simply asked pa crew if that would be allowed and they told us yes. End of story. It means that any combinations of alliances can do this, and so basicly everyone is equal here, no favouritism. Big alliances just have the bad luck there is a 100 limit.

As for the FAnG incident in PaX, that was simply a f*ckup from FAnG HCs, and CREW allowed all victims to rejoin FAnG tag wihout 72 hour delay. A number of them chose not to rejoin and a number of them chose to do so. All individual decisions.

their score wouldn't necessarily be higher, as they would have received alot more incomings than they have done so far..
