I am xan, help me :/
I am xan. I have no intention of reading the rules but I'd like to not let too many people down. Can someone give me a 5 line max explanation of what to do at the start re engineers etc. Yes I have playd before so no need to explain what a roid is just reasonably optimal crap.

Xan fleet composition
It's the first time i'll play xan this round, can anybody tell me what kind of fleet that i should have, wich kind of ships i should built the most ?

Basically - You seperate the game into two sections - Early game and late game.
Early game you will see that at the outset xans should use an alliance scan planet and rush FR research to attack whoever fails to build FR cover fast enough. These will likely be xan or maybe cath. When targets become thin you move to late game attacking.
Essentially this consists of roiding Terrans with the sole use of Bombers, Lancers, Sabres and Trebuchets. You are now a 1337 xan player.
For those of you not playing xan, congrats on choosing Terran. For the rest, there's always next round

From what I've seen fighter roid fleets can be very effective and hard to defend against as a result of it's low eta. It's a question of picking the right target ofc.

mind you, i think you should think twice about attacking with fighters in a terran heavy galaxy - in gal pegasus swapping has both the eta and the capability of screwing up your attack :\.

Looks like the attack fleets will rock anytime having loads of frigates. They're quite cheap and easy to be produced in high numbers.

And the Fireblade and Rogue obviously. The days of the fi attackfleets are almost over, unless you are willing to take heavy losses for your roids.
