Well what can i say... An interesting round. Firstly my galaxy/bp, it started off as people who didnt have a home but knew each other had exp etc so combined, It was pre round, me baasb mano and Vamp until mano switched bps and we brought Hunter and o-O in to bp(WORST BP MEMBER EVER!!) or maybe not hunter but snoops, i forget. Anyways we decided to go for a different tactic of a fence as Xans thinking little incs because all being strong value playing xans and all different allys. to be honest our gal didnt get much incs. I rememer early in, we had p3ng ct and ND incs, hardly any landed, when ND hit no 1 came online until 10mins before eta 5 changed to 4, I woke up and called eveyrone and most was covered haha. So was all good. we all kinda went idle and didnt do much for rest of round.. That's about it, had potential but failed, had a couple decent randoms holding gal together, hi galla, hi pot. was fun..

Hmm, planet-wise it was a very boring round for me. Due to the fence in my gal, we only had about 2 or 3 major incs all round. I lost 0 roids all round. As much as I like doing well, I'd have liked to have been able to say I did more to earn my final rank as an attacking planet. I was ranked 459 for Total Round Roids, and I think considering my final rank this was fairly shocking. Having not played a serious planet in 13 rounds, I was still very much in "solo attack" mode when it came to roiding. But roiding with Xan Fi became next to impossible relatively quickly, and the dominance of etd/zik co soon became apparent. This forced mixed teamups of fi and co which were largely ineffective and still meant disproportionate losses to xan than other races. Och well, I'll just pick more carefully next time, and try and get into T50 for total round roids.

Big shout out to my BP, who were mostly awesome. Patrikc is awesome (he started off as my peon 6 or 7 years ago!) as was Joopster and isnogood. RaiN crashed... again... but it's not like anyone could say it wasn't coming, and he still rocked the shit out of the attacks and defs he partook in. Thanks also to zavva, omb, scott and de_gekste - you guys made for a great gal.

BPd with lilboi, anders, Theam and signs, good bunch - quickly became one of the main asc fortress gals. We got hit a few times early on and I lost roids and never really caught up again. The galaxy was however very good at roiding (even if I was not) and managed to stay 1st or 2nd in total round roids for most of the early period - lost more than the other top gals too means we were never really a real top contender.

Once asc got involved in the fight the block focused on 3 1 for 3 nights out of the first 4 and then continued to hit us off and off for the rest of the round. We completely stagnated, unable to roid on the few times we got a day off as we were off defending 4 8 or 3 2 (the other asc gals) we slowly lost roids and by the end of the war we were crashing value too. Alki having already lost his roids purposefully crashed, desse died at base and felagund crashed in def despite calls and sms's for hours to get him to recall. We were out of the race just as the war came to pretty much a close.

I managed to gain roids twice in the second 600 ticks of the round - quite the roiding machine!! I liked zik but desperately needed more beetles and never got them.

well, what can i say.. was going to go random until Valle approached me about a covert op, scanner, generally worthless buddy pack which i joined because it sounded better than going random at the time. Valle ended up defending a lot the first week or so, while i grew fairly nicely value wise until we eventually because a good enough target for a few smaller alliances to team up big on us. after that my landings stagnated and i started mostly defending when sms'd because things in RL got too busy for me to idle on irc all night. all and all, a pretty fun round i guess. props to ducky, rico, and atro for letting me team with them, even though later in the round it seemed like i was doomed to get incs every night so i couldn't launch.

I usually go Cath but decided to go Xan this round for a change. Went random and fortunately landed in a good galaxy. I think we had only four full attacks on us, first time by Apprime and the last three by Vision. We grounded fleets when we were attacked and thanks to Oblivion-VR's dcing defended very well, not losing too much (except for the third Vision attack, -20% roids). After the war started we only got attacked on one or two planets at a time from App/Asc/VsN, usually on our bigger DLR/Subh planets.

Attacks using Xan FI went okay, landed quite a few fakes on smaller planets, teamups were hit and miss. Overall an okay round.

After shuffle i managed to land in an App core gal, with carDi, Pablitem, Punther etc. A...... different experience it has to be said

I was trying to get into an Asc core gal and on the third round of exiling i was ready to go, unbeknown to me 1:2 also exiled the same tick and after 2 exiles i landed there, unable to afford another try and seeing the gal looked decent i decided to stay.

I lost 1 tick of roids in carDi's gal before exiling and it turned out to be the only roid loss for me all round, 1:2 got a night of DLR/Euph incoming early on but other than that it was just small solos here and there.
Pretty boring round, my main fleet (Co) spent the majority of the round flying to 3:2, 3:1 and 4:8 on defence missions so i never really roided much with that. The CR fleet i had built incase we went to war with App was my main breadwinner in the long run, it was always flying in attack as we got next to no CR/BS incs.

Enjoyed seeing how things worked in an upper tier alliance but overall didn't enjoy much else about the round.

Big thanks to ducky for telling me where to send my fleets the last week when i cba anymore and also to Firebird for the CR teamups.
