Lol, no. I "accidentally" leaked we were grounding fleets for another fleetcatch to give us the night off, so to speak.

UF is very much alive. IN FACT, now that you mention it, I'm going to open #unitedfleets to the general public. So really, ANYONE could come and claim waves on Asc planets. And it's not like we don't know where your fleets are at all times.

This is just getting started mate.

Dispite all the succesfull fleetcatches in r26 on asc people, the ally still won a pretty solid victory in the end, which only backs up the arguement made by a few people that its a tactical mistake if you are looking to win.

Ascendancy didn't win because we weren't bothered until it was far too late. The fleet catches are pretty immaterial when we have momentum. Look at r26 for a time when we got our arse in gear at what happened to be exactly the right time and fleetcatches didn't count for anything.

There's nothing more dangerous in this game than an alliance with momentum as their score starts to grow at a highly elevated rate and eventually become unstoppable. Doesn't have to be Ascendancy.
