Gulf War: The Movie
Come on - how long do you give it?
Hollywood seems to like to keep a couple of wars between current events and the conflicts it makes movies out of, so it's probably about time. After all, we've had Black Hawk Down etc.

With Bush ready to roll in a few hours (and his lead firmly attached to Blairs collar), this is probably just the time to release a "a sensitive and factual portrayal of the first conflict in Iraq, featuring planes, choppers, tanks, assault rifles and lots of BIG BOMBS!!!!".

Personally I'd be surprised if shooting hasn't started yet (no pun intended).

will probably take 5 years until producers even think about making movies on this subject. it's not like all the WW2 based movies came out 1950.

Thus, we will be waiting for yet another 20 years for the best movies on the Gulf War. 40 years for the best movies on the Afganistan project.
