"The Best Film Ever"
I've decided that the best way to "rate" a film is by its "quotability".
The more cool lines from the film that you can say the better the film's rating.
As such i have finally decided upon my favourite film of all time.
"Fight Club"
It was a close run race between it an "American Psycho" but it edged it in the end.
Anyway using this method what is your favourite film?

That's the most shambolic, pathetic, useless and most utterly ****ing stupid way of picking "the best film ever".

Actually it's not.
The more lines you can remember from a film the bigger the impact on you that it's likely to have had.
The greater the impact the better the film is liable to be.
I'm not asking for comments upon cinematic wizardry just "A Personal Opinion of what the best film ever is".
If it makes you feel better you can substitute "Best" for "Most Enjoyable".

In this film we have from my birthday whem I was perhaps 4 or 9 or somewhere in between, me and a friend pretend to put condoms on eachother and then after we've done it we say that we put condoms on eachother. That should go far for being the Best Film Ever.

Your asking others to post their opinion on the BEST FILM with quotes yet you do not provide quotes from the film you purport to be the best.
hmmmmm that makes sense??
And no dont bother, Fight Club was utter drivel.

I had once watched independence Day so many times I knew pretty much the entire script by heart.
Then I discovered beer, and the outside world.
Haven't looked back.
