Charlie & The Chocolate Factory
you know, every time i watch this film , the same thoughts come into my head
1. Gene Wilder is abso-****ing-loutely the greatest actor ever.
2. If all childrens books were made into movies like this, we would have a generation of utterly traumatised kids.
I would genuinely blame this for the creation of the "Grunge" bands , which promptly spawned the "Sk8r" generation. Theres so much which is utterly ****ed up about that film.
I absoloutely love it!

I just watched a bit of it, when they went through the tunnel in that chocolate river. It showed a clip of a chicken having its head cut off. I mean, wtf????

Never seen it. Then again, something that mindblowing just HAS to be parodied.

It is a fine book, which was made into a fine film.

Quite possibly the best movie version of any of Roald Dahls books, with the possible exception of The BFG.

Someone enlighten me as to why the film is called "Willy Wonker's...." and the Book "Charlie and the...."
I know the little kid is Charlie and the current wacky owner is Willy, but why the title variation?

Its easier to make a pun out of Willy Wonka than it is out of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

I always thought that Roald Dahl wrote that tunnel bit after a bad trip or something.
I love it!
