Chillout tracks
Ok.
Think of this as a mini spinoff of the GD music archive.
What I'm looking for is the one track you always think of if you want to relax for a bit. Maybe you put it on of a Sunday morning, or when you've got in from a night out and are lying drunkenly on the bed.
Hopefully this way some less well-known stuff will come up than on all those "chillout albums".
Mine is:
Counting Crows - Miller's Angels

Re: Chillout tracks
Portishead - Dummy is quite good when you've got the flu.
Mozart is relaxing.
Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works (one or two) is, well, ambient - but also quite scarey.
A Tribe Called Quest - Beats, Rhymes and Life is also relaxing.
Brian Eno - Apollo is very relaxing.

It's a full album rather than a track, but I discovered "Art of Noise - The Seduction of Claude Debussy" a few weeks ago and holy shit its beautiful.

Yes, I like that song too.
If i'm relaxing and a bit sort of quiet and maybe sad, I always seem to put on Goo Goo Dolls - Name. I love Iris and Slide too though.

MMmm pointage. This was just a playlist I made a few years back under the heading 'chilled'.
Thought most of these songs would still be appropriate but I didn't check them all

Re: Chillout tracks
I've recommended albums so far, here's some tracks.
De La Soul - I Be Blowin' (it's an instrumental incase you're thinking: "but sweet jesus man, he'll be rapping!")
Miles Davis - All blues.
Out of the two I Be Blowin' is the most relaxing. It's a truely great piece of work. Beautful.
