Mobile Question

Basically im going on holiday to Portugal and im on a Orange Contract (yes orange is shit dont ask heh) but does anyone have any ideas how it works.

Will it be say anything i use it for i get charged on in my contract, or are more of my "text allowance taken" (say i get 5000 texts a month and it costs 4times the price per text would if just say i used 4 of those.)

Ive tried orange customer service and got no reply.
