I have, but only as the Empire.
I've been playing it this morning, actually - i'm quite suprised to see someone else still does too!
(StarWars: Rebellion i think it went under too)

Tis piss easy as empire,
Maybe I should have a go as the alliance.............
btw, the way to go is use diplomacy to get as many systems to join you in ALL clusters as early as poss.

with the 'alliance' i mean, playing the empire is piss easy as the star destroyers piss on anything the rebels have early on, (plus its great fun to have a fleet of multiple super star destroyers and death stars )
I hadn't played it in about a year, and started playing it again last night, I MUST COMPLETE IT AS THE REBELLION!
this is a challenge to all those who have the game,
The challenge:
Start in the LARGEST universe, on the HARDEST level (the button with the death star on it) as the Rebels, can you do it?
Winner will receive a custom made lightsabre

lol there was actually a very amusing story behind my CD, i got a new computer (packard bell) inserted Supremecy into it, heard a VERY strange grinding noise, the CD then ejected and fell on to the floor in 1000000 pieces, needless to say the 'phone conversation' to packard bell was very fun

If you're really desperate I have a copy of the CD and WinISO. If someone happened to come across my computer, accidentally make a CD image and then just happen to send it to you, I couldn't be held responsible

My CD got caught on something inside the drive about 6 months ago. The whole thing flew apart, so I cant play anymore .
But it was a rocking game.

euh.... is Star Wars Rebellion something different as Supremacy?
Here it is listed under both names. You can probably buy it somewhere on the net.
For the Dutch people, it can be found on Twilight21. (rebellion)

It was Rebellion in the US, and Supremacy in Europe.

SW Supremecy - yes. I think I did it as Empire, but not Rebels. Was never keen on the rebels tbh (I must say the Bulwack battlecruiser things were totally ILLEGAL and should NOT have been included :P)
I still dream of it being spiced up, with a smoother interaction for the galaxy stuff and a Homeworld style combat engine.
Dream game... never happen though.
Infact - ANY fleet game for SW would be nice (set in the Empire vs Rebel era)

I'd like one like that starfleet comand game, all sorta external.
SW supremacy is great though. It had a very steep learning curve but once you got into it was great fun, huge fleets going at eachother, etc.

Get Star Trek Armada II, then head down to one of the major modding sites (google is your friend). Finaly download Star Wars Fleet Command mod (I think). It is ace.

True, no actual single player missions. But it does make for great skirmish/mutliplayer fun.

I assume you mean Star Wars:Rebellion?
That game is sooooo easy as either side. As alliance early on just make tons of starfighters and you can kill ISDs easily. Basically it is so easy I win nearly instantly as soon as I get an interdicter.

It was released under the name Rebellion in the states, Supremacy in the UK.
Its funny that 'if you build loads of fighters, you can kill ISD's.' Only the computer builds ISD's, people build carracks.

if any of you get a copy of it, go to the MGZ and play some GL (Galactic Liberators) people there, if they are still around that is, i hear that they have moved to Battlegrounds now. They will definately give you a game of multiplayer that u would enjoy.
Egor, Aries and a few other GL played PA for a while.

the original question was 'Has anyone ever won the game in the largest universe on the most difficult setting?' and as such my advice was geared towards defeating a computer opponent
btw, humans make lancers since they come along pretty quickly as you tech...

I don't like carracks usually since they have some TB, but then again I always played the computer and it uses mostly fighters. My fleets usually looked like VSD\ISD for ship to ship and lancers for fighters... early-midgame at least

there is a ladder out there for SW:Rebellion? I tried to play multiplayer a few times, but the people I played all sucked and there were so few people on (MSNgamingZone). If theres a webby please direct me there, I wouldn't mind dusting off my old cd for another round or two

Axis_WLF and I play it occassionally. Honestly, it's easy as hell single player, it really is. Just takes manipulation of speed and resource strategies (for either 'side'). The AI of the 'computer' opponent is far too predictable. I have more problems with natural disasters, heh.
Multiplayer is much more difficult.

Four. I was destroying every outer-rim planet at the time and found two just too slow.

hmmm that would take a VERY long time, and by the time you've destroyed THAT many systems not alot of planets would like you
Would be funny though to destroy the star wars 'universe' the only way you'd be sure Jaa jaa Binks would die :-)

take a planet with the max number of energy spots (14?) and fill it with advanced shipyards.... the outer rim is a great place for a fleet assembly sector (1 huge ship yard for advanced cap ships, 1-2 mid sized for fighters and support craft, 1 huge construction yard and 1 midrange troop planet)
