Stop! (Half) Hammertime.

I wish someone had done that to Darryl Wotsisface from Sunderland yesterday, when he ruined a perfectly good Man City/Spurs double by scoring in the last minute

Re: Stop! (Half) Hammertime.
Murphy, and it's not like we didn't have chances in the rest of the game.

Re: Stop! (Half) Hammertime.
I still maintain that you have one of the best goalkeepers in the league there, mainly because every time you see Sunderland play he has to work his arse off to keep the score down.
Do the Mackems have a "Davis for England" chant going yet?

He's a good shot stopper (and so features a lot in highlights) but is absolutely terrible at:
Catching crosses
Positioning
Distribution
Communication
and is woefully inconsistent.
The number of goals we've conceded directly through his mistakes have probably cost us at least as many points as we have now, if not more.

The number of Mackems who think that he was a good replacement for either Myhre or Poom (even ignoring the fact that we paid £1.5m for him, and let the other two go for free) is around zero.

Im thinking that the £15M transfer fee from West Ham probably went a long way to securing Rio's England place.
