OK how do I make a boot disk in dos?

whats the commands to do it please?

Making one in windows isnt an option.

You can download them pre-made from www.bootdisk.com, go for the Win98 2nd edition unless you need something specialist.

The sys command will copy the required files to boot from a floppy. Sys however takes 2 params, (source and target, not sure about order). This however doesnt copy autoexec.bat or config.sys, so you will have no drivers loaded.

Of course, this only works on a DOS based OS, its not going to work in 2k/XP land.

One of which is optional (source). Sys a: will work just fine. As will format a: /s [/qu].
