Passing Flash Variables about

2 Problems (actually 2 diff questions but if you cant do the first one then can you help with the second)


1.
Is it possible to perform database saving commands in Flash using ASP code? And if so how.

(i need examples of code and where to put them etc)
the variable name to be saved is called "correct".



OR

2.

I have a flash movie which contains the variable 'correct'

Basically if correct < 10 it redirects the browser to a different page....

on this page is another flash movie which i want to display the variable correct. The page also saves the variable to a database via ASP.

So how do i get flash to display a variable thats been posted to it in the "flash_var_1" form???

There are key differences between them with integration.

It can be done with webservices in ASP.NET. In ASP I don't have a clue. I can show you an example when I'm at work Tuesday

Just get the Flash applet to call a server side page, with the data you want as a query string. Nice and simple.

loadVariables(...) is fine for doing this.

The Flash form has 3 fields and a button. The first field is called txtname. The others are called txthello and txthello2. The webservice has a method with 1 input parameter. The results are placed in a different class that is read by Flash.
