What an awful channel. All the shows are rubbish and/or already on channel 5.

the icon identifying which channe it is is way too large and the American commentator introducing each show has an annoying voice.

there are loads of truly great American tv shows (and loads more really bad ones), how come Five US hasn't managed to get one for the next seven days?

The launch date isnt great for it to have any real good new shows to launch with. Any good shows from last season were already bought up even before five US was decided on and any show five bought from last season has already aired.

And new shows for this season wont be able to be aired till the new year.

However it will get better, csi n/y will have its first airings on the channel when the new season starts and they also have Shark, Vanished, 'Till Death as well as as access to WB's back catalog of movies and a number of their TV shows (Dawsons Creek is one thats been confirmed)

I also think that their US Sport coverage is pretty decent if you have an intrest in those sports.


Give it time for five to buy more shows and in the next year or so and it will probally be a pretty decent channel

Scheduled TV is almost always dreadful. It's hard to believe that anyone with a degree of choice (and I confess a lot of people don't have much of a choice) would spend more than an hour or so a day watching it (over downloaded episodes or the like).
