Certain people
Who have certain names are just fit.
We had this discussion on irc some months back but today I met a nina. I already know two other nina's they are both incredibly hot. This one is also hot.
Why is it girls with certain names always tend to be hot?
Another name I have had good experiences with is Laura (although with it being such a popular name you do get a fat girl here or there)
Can you think of any other male/female names?

This, along with the small size of your sample space. If for each name you know maybe 2-4 girls who have that name, it stands to reason that theres going to be some names for which everyone is hot (and some where everyone is ugly).
I suppose there could be a deeper reason involving social class though, where certain groups of people are more likely to give their kids certain names. For example, if I knew nothing else about them, I would probably expect a boy called Cuthbert to be fairly posh (which is attractive to some people), and a girl called Chantelle look a bit slutty (which is attractive to some people).

There are some names that are ugly.
Like Vicky.
Never met a fit vicky before.

Its generally just the fat girls you had in your classes at School, you are wary of the name in later life.

Well not hot but every Pete I know is messed up. Pete from Bristol turned into a skitzo because of drugs, another Pete I know from Warick has a bad stutter, another Pete from LSE (london) has a very active twitch.

This and the racial element (as DDA says) woudl be the only things I would subconsciously rely on. I've never met an Imogen whose parents live on a council estate for instance. I believe the book Freakonomics has a section which lists the popular poor / rich person white names in America.
On males, I've never met someone called Paul who wasn't a bit of a twat. And it's my middle name.

Re: Certain people
I used to pray everytime a new year of uni started that my flatmates would be Cindy and Mindy the stunning attractive best friends who were open to new ideas.
Instead i was lumbered with a troll who lived under bridges and a sexmad brummy who slept with just about anyone to the point that she had to tell two 40 something men that she couldnt infact sleep with them 'tonight' as she had leiukemia.
Second year was an ace flat but no women at all unless one had a sex change he failed to mention.
Third year i got stuck with an irish man, someone from a colony and a guy who i never spoke a single word too yet lived no more than 3 feet from me.
Damn the fates.
damn them.
p.s. none of them were called Cindy and Mindy so using logic + 10 i can only deduce these names are only reserved for sexy blonde bimbos.

Three of my girlfriends have been called Gemma, although one was spelt 'Jemma' (she was ethnic and that). I don't even particularly like the name.

A Jennifer that I do not believe you have ever set eyes on.
But irrelevant, it's not my real name, why do you think I chose it? Oh, I remember the pages and pages of 'Jenny' threads when I first showed up.
'Nikki' tends to be fit, tho only if it's spelt like that.

Around my area there seems to be a lot of good looking "Sarahs". And also "Jennifers/Jenny's"

Nah, I know a girl called Nikki who isn't. I mean, I'd do her, but that's because of horribly low standards rather than anything else.

I've only known 2 women named Jessica, they were both of the redneck variety, both are stuck up and think they're better than anyone else, and both are smart but have no common sense.

I find Hayleys are always really fine tbh. Another couple which immediately bring opinions to you are Janice (kinda fit but slaggy), Juliet (posh) and Sarah (would get it tbh)
edit: oh and Zoe's are hot

Most Gordons look like they have a butt for a head with the nose sticking out of the crack. Especially when they get older.
