Re: Dear zPeti part 3
I'm happy to announce that Tietäjä's announcement referring to the announcement about the announcement can be updated to announce that the announcement will actually take place, at latest, at round 38 signups. Furthermore, I hope that some form of CH will be referred to in the announcement, relating to all issues referred to in the announcement.
In other news, beta testing is due to start in the next couple of days to give you all something to do apart from posting here

Cool! Some action
Looking forward to hearing what it is.
And thanks for dropping by, zPeti. How's your other game working out?

A lot of people seem to disagree. Not that I'm arguing we should copy them, mind you.

This is a brave a promise son, considering my current permanently banned state at the world of warcraft forums, I have some time at my hands over the slow July days at work.
Let's hope there'll be more improvements than just the passport system, we're having a master of a plan with toot and MortalP to complete mastery of the orio... universe yes.

To be fair, they're magnitudes bigger than Jolt, OMAC and Renegade Games combined and I've already had more phone calls with them than all previous owners combined. They seem less interested in immediately jumping in and imposing their ideas on Planetarion, and more interested in working alongside the PA Team. Merely adding the game to their website and integrating it with Jagex could easily get more signups than any advertising that has ever been provided by previous owners.

Re: Dear zPeti part 3
I'm rather amused by the fact that shortly after Spinner said they were asking far too much for the game for him to buy it back someone else came in and bought it. How much do people think it actually went for!

Whilst I don't like to point the finger, I think that Jolt probably inflated the price after taking it from Spinner and it's never dropped (much) since.

This sounds absolutely ridiculous. No realistic business* would actually increase a virtually agreed upon price by a factor of ****ing three.
*I actually mean anyone who can count above 10. This may not actually apply to pete I guess.

If you replace "realistic" with "serious", I think you're on to something. Why do you think I went from "good luck" to "sod off" over night when it came to "the renegades" ?...
Hmpf.

Dude you need to take a step out of your barrel and take a look around the business world. What do you think they're making money off. Besides, I can see why three times Motorola Networks would be more than pebbles, but three times ten thousand is thirty thousand.

Thanks for the lesson in multiplication. Here was I thinking that when you trebled numbers below 50 million the result was actually only a 10% increase...

Yeah but peanuts multiplied by three is still peanuts to a corp of any decent size :<
