Dont want to spend more than a £900.
Dont want a PC.
Going to travel alot.
Want to use it for: watching tele, word processing, multimedia learning packages, running linux, internet.

iBooks are very nice. Both 12 or 14 inch are a good choice. I would get the 14" though.

I'm about to purchase myself a powerbook 12" I think, just applied for a credit card to do so.

PC World are selling 12" iBooks for £629 online (£650 with postage), but they are the older 0.8ghz model which does not encorperate the wireless card. But you can buy them serperately for about £60-80.

I've been researching and reading up on laptops for a little while now and the Macs do seem like the right choice.
