Online Poker
Following a recent addiction to poker tv shows on challenge, i ventured into the world of online poker, starting off with playmoney, winning quite a lot, i ventured into real money poker, starting with £50.
6 hours later. I am now + 560 on my initial investment.
and so i retire for the day.
rocking all over the shop.

Re: Online Poker
Online poker is great, irrespective of your win/lose ratio. I've won £300 in one night, which was great fun. I've never lost "big" since I don't deposit that much, but I've certainly had a few games where I've been well down.
If you are thinking of playing I would say set yourself VERY strict limits on how much you play with. Only play with what you can afford to lose, and expect to lose it all. View it as £20 for a nights entertainment. When I was doing it regularly (and not doing badly) I also set myself very strict limits on when I quit (i.e. if I was up by x or down by y, etc). YMMV.

Re: Online Poker
depends on the table you are playing, clearly you have to get out quick if you are up against someone good.

Re: Online Poker
its also rather easy if you know anything at all about when to play and when not too.
still there is luck to be had
ive lost when ive had 75% chance of winning against a 5% chance.
my flatmate has lost when he had a 99% chance of winning too heh

I promise to set the bailiffs and repo men on you lot when I've become a poker addicted mess. You all make it sound so tempting.

Re: Online Poker
Internet poker is a sickening game full of sickening people who make sickening calls. Some friends of mine do very well making decent money off it but it's such a grind it's untrue.
