As i have discussed with alot of people they all dont like the tick start time
1st is a monday which is the 1st day of the week and thus work, college and school
Also 2nd as i heard its 13:00 CET also it means people wont be home from work, college or school
Anyone can deny the info i got about the time?
or can we get the time changed?

no offence be happy that ticks start, we've all waited long enough.

and btw, if you work you will eventually have to skip ticks in the game, doesn't matter when that happens (round isn't decided in the first week m8, relax)

People would find a reason to complain whatever time was chosen. Danmed if you do, damned if you dont.

Just stop complaining and lets get on with the game ffs.

the only good point made since the replying begun
but wouldnt 2 hours later be better for most of the world? am sure it wont be much worse for other time zones

opinions..

i dont see why u need to be home for tick start, u can do the initing of roids/res/con the night b4 etc, so u dont need to be online till the tick that the res/con finish.

u need the 2nd tick to init 3rd roid or if u inited 3 before ticks then u need to start c/r 2nd tick

u can do all of that b4 ticks starts due to the quests giving u the resources needed =)

i think quests will be disabled until they remove the race/name choices in ur pref page, mayb, but afaik they will be running for r9 heh

Personally I'd like to see the ticks start on Saturday, but I didn't even get my way about the 15/gal thingy, so I don't hold out much hope.

whilst not playing the round I have (in a very sad fashion) spent much time on the strat boards explaining to those that will listen which race has the most chance to dominate. consequently I don't expect sarcasm but suspect instead blind stupidity.

The time that ticks start is completely arbitary since u are going have to lose ticks if u work 9-5 anyway. Cant please all the people all the time...

hal its says it in-game motd (or it did) 12:00 UK time

looking at how many people are from what country
we could never pic a time that would suit all of the top 4 (UK USA Norway and Holland i think)

12:00 is a nice time uk based, you can do all the tick 1 stuff the night bofore than 8 ticks later which is a nice time at night
you can do the second res/con
now if we started at at 8 pm at night
you'd be up in the middle of the night

its a no win situation when its a world wide game
