They were always the source of much mirth and merriment, I wonder if any alliances do anything similar nowadays.

Ppl in xan liked o get +ve points cos it showed they were working hard for their alliance. Ppl in enemy alliances took pride in getting negative points cos they were working hard for their alliance - and could argue the point they had really done more than bigger people who had just gone out for roids.
Xan points were cool and sexy. Do I get my point back?

I've been working on a form of a points system for ROCK which relyed on members posting co-ords of who defended gal mates etc...
unfortunatly we're all to lazy and i only HTML templates for it, and no actual database

There's a difference in hiting anyone that isn't in your alliance compared to hitting enemy alliance members to hitting planets that have actually commited hostile acts.

I remember when I found out in R7 that I had more xan points than my xan galm8s  . Xanadu gave points for defending gals with xan members in them even to non-members . What was that newx galaxy again that was always under attack?
