can't wake up
I'm sat here at work in my chair and goddamnit I am so tempted to put my head on the desk for a swift 40.
I've visited the (free) coffee machine twice already to no avail.
Help!

Go outside in the cold while only wearing minimal layers of clothing.

Re: can't wake up
I slept over a bit due to a rather large amount of beer in a short period of time as a result of happiness as I won about 400 euro last night playing roulette!

Re: can't wake up
I had to get up at 9 after going to bed at 4 because I had some short loan library books due back by 10.
They fine you lots when you don't get them back in on time. £20 is my record \o/

Re: can't wake up
Why don't you tell your supervisor about it (throw in the thing about the possible kid that might be yours) and ask if you can go home. You won't be very productive to the company like that anyway.

Re: can't wake up
Red Bull always does the trick for me. If I'm feeling like I'm going to wilt and die one can generally peps me up enough to get through the day. To be honest I don't think it's the caffeine - it's the sour taste that makes my eyes near pop out of my head.

Re: can't wake up
Only if you stay outside, fool. If you go outside for a brisk walk it generally wakes you up. Or it does me at least. When I leave my house I'm half-asleep (regardless when I woke up), by the time I've walked to the train station I'm wide awake.

Re: can't wake up
Oh, that. Yes, after that the body indeed starts to wake up a bit. But when I wake up and go outside, I usually am still warm for about 30 minutes.
Also, on a more annoying note: 5 Minutes ago, I came out of bed.

Oh sorry, got mixed up between you and meladron (as someone has pointed out).
Still - maybe you should tell your supervisor?
Although there's only a few more hours left in the day - might as well see it out now.

Re: can't wake up
a coffee and a cigarette in the morning does wonders, you get the caffine rush and nicotine rush to your head, and you are buzzing with energy, only plus side of 9am lectures
