Capturing image from video
I searched on Google but I get a waffle.

Can anyone personally recommend me a program that allows me to pause a video file and capture a still image based on where I've paused it?

I just tried AVIEdit and it didn't seem to accept the video encoded in XVid or something.

you silly faggots

get a proper video player first (videolan) and change the output so that it isnt 'overlay' then print screen away.
(its in the preferences)

Alternatively just open up two instances of video lan. one will printscreen.

Now you tell me. I've got videolan and I didn't know such option existed.

There are ways around taking prntscreens though....

Media Player Classic allows the taking fo stills from video files - this was taken from a DVD.

I use MPC for realmedia files. its much less irritating than realone or whatever the gay its called.
