'Greatest Britons'
There was a vote on TV just now, and they asked which of these 5 should be the top Briton:
1) David Beckham
2)Winston Churchill
3)Princess Diana
4)Micheal Owen
5)JK Rowling (sp?)
now, the only person who has done anything remotely beneficial to the country was Churchill, so why the f*ck would anyone want to vote for Beckham or Micheal Owen, overpayed fags.

Anyone but Churchill, because Churchill winning would imply it had the faintest degree of credibility.

Frankly... I think the only way we're ever going to get a decent poll on the greatest briton is if we automatically exclude the proleteriat.

She was a pretty good constitutional monarch. I'm not terribly sure how she would have faired if she'd been in command of the armed forces, diplomacy and the administration of the country, though.
