they filmed it in vancouver (or at least parts of it)
kelly roland (from destiny's child) is in it.
she did a radio interview a while ago (last november? :\) about how she had to learn how to scream for a part of the movie. (being a singer she never screamed as it could wreck her vocal cords etc etc)

I swear that's the most horrific thing I've ever seen.
I mean, even the idea of something so hideously stupid is mind-boggling.
Christ do they actually believe people are going to pay to see THAT?

There've been like 10 Friday the 13th movies. I don't see how they managed to make 10 movies just about a guy who runs around in a hockey mask wielding a chainsaw. Nightmare on Elm Street was a much cooler concept.

There is a tradition in many groups that, once this occurs, that thread is over, and whoever mentioned the Nazis has automatically lost whatever argument was in progress. Godwin's Law thus practically guarantees the existence of an upper bound on thread length in those groups. However there is also a widely- recognized codicil that any intentional triggering of Godwin's Law in order to invoke its thread-ending effects will be unsuccessful.

I'm not usually one for tacky, but I'm actually intrigued by the concept. Besides, the originals were tacky anyway so it wont affect the movie in any sort of way.
Speaking of lost movie concepts, I wonder what ever happened to the Doom movie.

It's being made apparently
Too early to guess if it will be any good. Though I tend to assume that it will suck big time.
