How to play SVCD's on your comp?
My mediaplayer goes tits up when I open an SVCD file in it. So how can I watch an SVCD file on my comp. Under Windows... a schoolmate told there is a proggy for linux, but I need a windows program.

I am using WMP. When I open the file it says: Windows Media Player encoutered an unknown error

I downloaded the file.... other people I know are able to play it on their DVD players

There are codecs (google for SVCD codec) but WinDVD also plays them get the free trial from intervideo.

WinDVD and powerDVD are both teh win!!!

Though finding a codec for WMP would be handier
