Since this has come true and since you felt that you needed your entire block to try and take us down, we in turn, make a formal declaration of war against you, 1up. We’ll not get involved with your peons as if we kill the body, the head will fall. We will not coordinate attacks with any other alliances, and will not attack any other alliances. ATM, we are involved with 1 nap, and we will be dropping formal ties with them in order to hit you solo. All of our efforts for the rest of the round will be concentrated on you, regardless of whether you keep sending waves of your peons at us. Rest assured we have no eye on the top of the rankings, our only goal is to have a good clean fun war and keep you from achieving your goals. And we honestly believe that man for man, we have better players then you and can take you in a 1 on 1. You have shown us what 441 man block can do, we will show you what 63 man alliance can do.

on other hand, lets see 1up going on a 1 on 1 fight, if they can drop their tie with their blocks and have a fair fight while other alliances will leave both angels and 1up alone, ill be impressed and i will be glad to see what the outcome of such a war, tho i know what will happen

May as well dignify this with a response to give some context to those readers unaware of the full political situation. Fyodor only described last night's events - and "forgot" to mention the background to it.

Many of you will be aware that there has been a block-war of sorts going on for a while. The day before yesterday Angels joined one of the blocks. Their officers were added to a channel in which 4 other alliances (LCH, Exilition, ToT, Vision) already coordinated attacks. That night Angels, as part of an attack by their block, sent multiple waves at just the 1up planets in a few galaxies. 1up that night did our own attacks hitting whole galaxies not a specific alliance.

Given that Angels felt they wanted to be part of a block-war (a war that pretty much petered into non-existence the previous 2 nights) we felt it only fair that they get a proper experience of what is entailed in that.

Yes, I told Angels HC well in advance that we'd be hitting them. We felt the "block war" experience for them would be enhanced if we didn't just roid them, but told them in advance and still ***ed them hard up the ass.

If Fyodor believes that it's possible for 1 alliance to fight 1 other alliance while in the middle of a block-war then he lives in cloud cuckoo land. 1up has never this round engaged in attacks coordinated with other alliances except against alliances who have first done precisely that themselves. If you join a block, it's not normally possible - just by a badly written piece of PR on AD - to magically leave that block and get all of the other side to leave you alone as well. If you can't stand the heat you should never have entered the kitchen.

Fyodor said "if we kill the body, the head will fall". Who does he think the head is?

If Angels want to spend their whole round attacking 1up, feel free to. For our part we'll continue to change our targetting based on political developments, the attractiveness of targets etc. Attacking Angels was in no way personal - it was just part of a block war that Angels chose to involve themselves in.

As for tonight, all i can suggest is that Angels members get the lube out.

Stop whining already. If you are upset with 1up and want to go to war with them, simply make a post "Angels is now declaring war on 1up". Instead you have to make a long drawn out post "1up is being meany poo big bullies and attacking us a lot...ant other people are attacking us a lot too Therefore now that I have tried to get all of your pity, now we will go to war with 1up". </rant>

I look forward to a good fun round, and wish you the best of luck Angels. Frankly I dont care if I win or lose, do well or bad. I might get upset during the round because I get my butt whooped by someone, but the next day I will get myself right back up and start fighting again. Whining about it is for babies...

Did my eyes betray me, or is that post from Fyodor actually a declaration of war. Neither do i see any part of that text where Angels are calling 1up "bullies" or "big bad meanies". 1up hit 1 alliance with the firepower of the whole block. Angels hit 1up one on one.
I never looked forward to a block war, but i think we have got ourselves a block war whether we want it or not. It's not important how it started or who started it, we are now involved in it. Let's just say 1up should be our main target within the opposing block.
I suggest Sid and their puppets buy their lube in massive quantities from now on. We only lost roids, and we want them back :P
