Re: [FOOTBALL]Your chance to taste the glory that is the JC WoodenSpoon Redemption Trophy
ok / G+ explained
If you're happy with the current X3-G1 scoring, just leave "ok" on the form.
If you think the league would be better if the value of General results is increased, leave G+.
If you don't care, delete neither or both
In the unlikely event that the Carling Cup 2nd Leg games (Aston Villa v Bolton, Middlesbro v Arsenal) should go to penalties, we will use the score BEFORE they take place.

Re: [FOOTBALL]Your chance to taste the glory that is the JC WoodenSpoon Redemption Trophy
Ipswich score goals for fun - six against Crewe last weekend for example.
Joe Royle's team find the net both home and away, although it is possible to get at them defensively.
However, Sunderland lost at Millwall last weekend and are currently struggling to score.
^^^
From www.bbc.co.uk
A bizarre assesment there, considering in the last 5, Ipswich have scored 12 and conceded 9, whilst we've scored 8 and conceded 2. If you look at december, Ipswich scored 6 and conceded 8, whilst we scored 11 and conceded 6 (1/2 of those coming against west ham ).
In recent form, Ipswich have hardly been 'free scoring' if we haven't; in the last 2 months, they've scored 2 more goals than us (if you discount the 6 against one of the worst displays of defending ever known, they'd be doing much worse) and conceded five more; +6 for us, +3 for them.
Sure we lost at Millwall at the weekend, but we didn't have Arca, and he's one of the best (if not the best) player in the division. (And that's ignoring [like the referee hehehahahahha] the antics of dennis wise)

Is it correct that none of the Welsh clubs playing in England can qualify for Europe?

Yeah, I am pretty sure Wrexham were told if they won the FA Cup a few years back they wouldn't be allowed into Europe and they were complaining as they also aren't allowed to enter the Welsh Cup which they used to get into Europe through. They are trying to give the FAW Premier Cup a Uefa Cup spot though which would be useful.

Luton Town 0 - 1 Tranmere

Telford P - P Milwall
Liverpool 2 - 1 Newcastle
Telford v Millwall was postponed due to waterlogged pitch and will probably be played on Tue 27th.
We're sticking with the old 3X/1G scoring system for this league; though there may be a new scoring suggestion next time with 2pts for being almost right.

I'm on a bad run . I seem to do better in the league than the cup so that might drag me up slightly .

10?
My own fault for assuming Man City v Spurs would be a goalfest since neither can defend.

Should have been a Goal Fest, neither of them can attack either though.

Nicolas Anelka and Robbie Keane v 2 of worst defences the EPL has ever seen.
It SHOULD have been a goalfest.
And your lot didnt help me, going tonto against Boro. And where was Thierry. Chrissakes , he cost me plenty points in the Fantasy Footie!
