They just seemed to fade into obscurity.

They're in the Reading/Leeds lineup this year, and from what I've heard they've got another album in the pipeline. Their last album sold fairly well, and their videos (e.g. Rock Show & All the Small Things) are played regularly on Kerrang/MTV2.
And they far from suck.
Listen to :
Adam's Song
Stay Together For The Kids
I Won't Be Home For Xmas
(as well as tonnes of others). They actually rock fairly hard, with mildly thoughtful lyrics thrown into the usual juvenille pop-punk mix. But I expect a knee-jerk condemenation for this viewpoint.
(Boxcar Racer is a side-project for a couple of members of the band afaik.)

Correct.
As an aside, Blink 182 are extremely serious musicians, which most people don't expect.

Tom and Travis did a side-project bo car racer.
Travis also drummed for The Transplants with Tim Armstrong (from Rancid) and some other guy.
Blink 182 are currently working on a new album and it should be out in the summer.

I don't like their music. I don't know why. So i don't care if they go or not. But im not bothered by their music either.
Better then most of the stuff on the radio, anyway.

Different strokes for different folks, etc.
I personally find Enema to be their strongest album, but TOYPAJ is also brilliant imho.
Of course their greatest song lyrically is Family Reunion :
"**** piss **** **** **** sucker
mother ****er tits fart turd and twat
**** piss **** **** **** sucker
mother ****er tits fart turd and twat
**** piss **** **** **** sucker
mother ****er tits fart turd and twat
**** piss **** **** **** sucker
mother ****er tits fart turd and twat
I ****ed your mom."

I have 'Enema of the State'.
I like it (despite the abuse i get from my friends because of it).
I dont own any other Blink albums as im afraid of further abuse (which i feel would be warranted if i went and got 'Take off Your Pants and Jacket'.

Been a fan since before all the bandwagon "HAET BLINK SELLOUT TITBAND RABBLE ROUSE" people did precisely that. Moving along though...
Travis was the original drummer for The Aquabats, a local band from my city, becomming the replacement for 'Scott' (original Blink drummer) while Blink-182 was headlining a concert featuring The Aquabats. Moving along still...
I saw Jimmy Eat World, Green Day, and Blink-182 live during their Pop Disaster Tour show in Los Angeles, CA. Blink was T E R R I B L E live. Final movement...
My appreciation for studio sound recording, mixing, et al was severely reenforced after that concert. Equally so, Green Day remains still my 'first love' of an actual band, and JEW were introduced to me as being "a better band than Blink-182 who have better songs than radio-gunshot-to-death 'The Middle'."
Blink-182 are showmen. They draw crowds not for their ability to play music, but for their 'happy-fun' concerts.
P.S. Carousel > any other Blink song, and Adam's Song is about coming home from being on tour (something most of us don't have a clue of understanding anyway).
Jakiri has wonderful taste in music, but he also drools from his mouth. Be kind to those who can't help themselves. :\

You've mistaken me for JBOY. I merely sent a postcard etched with the blood of my blistered fingers. :/
